Personality: Jake is the kind of guy who can look at the world and if something doesn't seem right, he will do what he can do to fix it up. Sees a need somewhere and does what he can to help out. It what made him a good solider over seas, the villagers and locals would take to him very well. He was always give them some kind of aid or helping out in any way he could would the missions allowed for it and even when they didn't he would find time to make something happen.
He believes in god but isn't the type to force his faith on anyone. He can be a loner and keep to himself, he takes a while to bond with anyone even his fellow teammates. Though he is very protective of those he cares and loves, he also willing to do anything to make sure they are safe and taken care of. Jake can be loyal but won't follow orders unless it's something he believes in. Always the hard working guy, he doesn't know when it's time to call it quits. There is a more relaxed side to him that can be playful and open but it takes work for him to show that side of him.

History: Given up at birth, Jake spent many years in the system and bouncing around from family to family. It wasn't until he was about twenty that he found someone he could call family that wasn't his military unit. He had joined the army at sixteen, faking his age to get in so he could get out of the system that he hated so much. He became the top recruit in basic training, finishing at the top of his class.
After finishing up basic training, he went in and did what he needed to do to get himself into the Army Rangers. He was pushing himself to hard and fast and the first one to seen this was a guy who was working with the USO who took it on himself to watch over the younger male after meeting with him in a hospital where Jake was recovering from a injury. Soon Jake had found himself a place he could call home and a group of people who could call family.
It where Jake had found himself a true name. He hadn't know his first name only that he was A. Copper. He took on the man's name who took him in. Garrison Donely. With a new name came a new person, one who was looking out for others and taking care of himself. But also a man who had found his faith. It was then that his commanding officers soon took notice that they had a really good solider on there hands. Jake was assigned to a different team and soon was taking on bigger and better missions.
Soon after his 17th year of service, he was assigned to the Stargate program to a newly formed special forces team. He has spent the last two years serving in that unit.
