1. There is a limit on canon characters, as there aren’t that many, its one per player. You can have up to three made up characters, if you wish for more permission should be given from an admin and you know you can keep all characters active.
2. You are not allowed to steal another member's character, without admin, or the member's permission.
3. If you have a canon character change your name to that character, or one of the Admin staff will do it for you.
4. If you have a canon character, and have been gone for a few weeks without telling somebody where you went, or PMing a staff member, or even making simple post in the absences board, you will lose your position. That is to make sure we have active members for the important position.
5. If you wish your character to be related to any of the canons (I.E. Ronon Dex’s daughter or Daniel Jackon’s son) then you must get permission from the characters player and the admin.
6. The same as above, this goes for canon characters or even made-up characters, if you want to have your character be a boyfriend or girlfriend of someone else's character, you must ask the player for permission first.
7. The face claim you take for your character must fit the job/rank you pick for them. I have seen many sites where a police officer or military personnel have a face claim that had some weird color of hair or caked on makeup. There is no way they would be allowed to work in real jobs looking like that. We want to keep things as realistic as we can on this site. So keep in mind your character's job/rank when you pick out their face claim and what would be required of them to look like. Unless of course you’re an alien character, those can be as weird and interesting as you’d like.
