Stick these rules as best you can. They are simple but may be changed so check back every few weeks. Please read and take the time to understand all of the rules on this site.
1. Once registered, please change your display name to your characters full name.
2. Please write your role play in third person and in past tense. I.E (He, she, them, they.)
3. Try to maintain proper grammar, and spelling as best as you can. Though we know it isn’t always possible.
4. Describe in your role play. It makes it more interesting for people to read.
5. Post a minimum of 150 words, just so we aren’t having one liners, cause no one likes one liners.
6. Do not god-mod (making someone else’s character do something they did not say in the previous thread) and do not use ‘slang’ in your writing. Please use the appropriate English.
7. Please try and keep as active as you can, we discourage more than 3 characters a player. Though if you can keep all of them active, you will be allowed to keep them. Canon characters are limited 1 per player, as there are not that many canon characters in all the series, if you are caught applying for more than one canon character you will be banned, if this continues you will be deleted.
8. Please respect all the members on Stargate Revelation. Do not go round just causing trouble. This will suffer an instant ban and possibly deletion from the group.
9. This is a role play site based upon the films, series and books of Stargate. Anything that dose not appear in the film or books is copyrighted to this site, and we do not expect anyone to take it and use it else were, unless permission is given.
10. Please reframe from spamming the board with your advertisements’, there is a board were you can advertise your site, please only ever use this board. You may also advertise in your signature or on the C-box, in your name but you can not draw attention to it. Posting links around the forum will be punished with an irreversible ban.
11. Do not put people down. This is a character site and not a place where you can make fun of people.
12. If you have a problem with another member come to a member of the staff so we can deal with it.
13. Do not do anything to offend or intentionally hurt another member.
14. Be respectful of all other members.
15. Be helpful to newer and/or confused members.
16. HAVE FUN! The site is all about having fun! So get out there and do it!
